Filming for a good cause
A Video Production Adventure through Costa Rica and Mexico.
At MandaProductions, we understand the importance of sustainability and its impact on our planet. As a company, we are dedicated to promoting and supporting initiatives that drive positive change and help build a sustainable future. This is why we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work alongside Costa Rica Coral Restoration, a remarkable organization that is committed to preserving and restoring coral reefs in the country’s waters. Our team was excited to capture their incredible work on film and showcase it to the world. Through this project, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of coral reefs and inspire others to take action towards creating a more sustainable future.

Starting at the end of January, we headed to Costa Rica to work alongside Costa Rica Coral Restoration (CRCR) located in Marino Ballena National Park. During our time there, we reported the efforts that went into restoring reefs around the Pacific coast and documented and promoted the organization’s educational workshops that gave the public the chance to learn and understand the importance of these fragile ecosystems.
In addition, we also spent some time in Cozumel, Mexico, to understand the techniques that Cozumel Coral Restoration (CCRRP) were using to restore their coral reefs and the ways they educated people about ocean conservation. We believed education was specifically important in places where tourism was ever-growing and had a significant impact on the environment. By working with both CRCR and CCRRP, we hoped to gain a broader understanding of the various approaches to coral restoration and how tourism can become more sustainable in regards to ocean conservation.
We are currently working on a larger format episode about coral restoration and are continually streaming information on Instagram via our platform “DoGooders_official”. We see Social Media as one of the most powerful and effective tools to connect with the community and share our insights. We are excited to share the final cut of the documentary with you soon.
